This is the analog audio input. The audio inputs

require RCA-type connectors.

SERVICE ONLY

This is a servicing port. Do not connect anything to

it.

AC Power cable

Connect the power outlet on the wall.

REMOTE CONTROL OPERATION

The ZC4001 does not come with a remote controller.

However, it does have an infrared sensor that functions as a remote control signal receptor, and therefore

it can be operated with the system remote controller (RC5500SR, etc.) of other Marantz products.

Remote-controllable range

The distance between the transmitter of the remote control unit and the infrared sensor of the ZC4001

should be less than about 16.4 ft (5meters).

If the transmitter is pointed away from the infrared sensor or if there is an obstacle between them, remote

control may not be possible.
